The highlights of the sojourn will be 400 years old Tawang Monastery an added attraction of Tesla Lake at an altitude of 14,000 ft a river boat cruise on the River Brahmaputra where you get to watch a captivating sunset, integration with the local tribes in the villages of Arunachal, visiting a tea garden en-route and an elephant and jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park.

Day 01 ARRIVAL DELHI 

On arrival Delhi our representative will assist you and transfer to hotel. After breakfast half day Delhi local sightseeing tour visit Humayun Tomb, India Gate, President House, Jama Masjid and one hour rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk "Silver Square" is the most famous and historic street, Vibrant bazaars and street food of old Delhi. After sightseeing return back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 DELHI – GUWAHATI 

Transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Arrival at Guwahati airport and meet our representative. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Meet our motorbike team and check your Royal Enfield bikes. Have a test ride and later visit Kamakhya Temple – one of the oldest hindu temple dedicated to mother goddess Kamakhya. Also visit Shiva temple and Botanical Gardens. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 03 GUWAHATI – NAMERI

After breakfast, ride to Nameri known for the Nameri National Park, in the foothills of eastern Himalayas. The area of Nameri is criss-crossed by the river Jia – Bhoroli and its tributaries. You can also spot some monsoon lakes in the area. Visit Nameri National Park and witness the rich fauna and the lush green flora too, of the place. It is famous for its elephants, tigers, leopards, sambars etc. along with the bird watching. Overnight at Nameri.

Day 04 NAMERI – BOMDILA

After breakfast, ride to Bomdila, a picturesque 8500 ft mountain that is popular among mountain lovers. You can meet the Monpas and the Mijis tribes of people in nearby villages and watch their tribal dances also in the evening. Overnight at Bomdila.

 

Day 05 BOMDILA – TAWANG 

After breakfast, ride to Tawang via Sela Pass at an altitude of 13700 ft above from sea level. Stop at Sela lake and after spending some time there continue the ride. Enroute, also visit the high altitude yak breeding centre and the tribal people in the villages. Reach Tawang for overnight stay.

 

Day 06 IN TAWANG

After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion of Tawang. Visit the 400 year old Buddhist monastery (Tawang Monastery) where over 500 monks live and priceless Buddhist texts and sculptures are housed. Afternoon, ride to the high altitude Peti Tso Lake for an amazing outlook of the valley. Later, ride back to Tawang for overnight stay.

Day 07 TAWANG – BOMDILA

After breakfast, ride back to Bomdila. Enroute, visit Indo-China War Memorial dedicated to Jaswant Singh Rawat, a rifleman from Garhwal Rifles who fought and hold the attack of China all alone for 72 hours. Spend some time here and then continue the ride to Bomdila. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Bomdila.

 

Day 08 BOMDILA – ITANAGAR 

Ride to Itanagar, the capital of Arunchal Pradesh state in India. Itanagar is a beautiful hill station surrounded with tropical evergreen rainforests. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, visit yellow roofed Buddhist Temple, Gayker Sinyi (also called Ganga Lake), Jawaharlal Nehru Museum that has a huge collection of tribal art, religious objects and instruments. Overnight at Itanagar.

Day 09 ITANAGAR – ZIRO  

Morning after breakfast, ride to Ziro, a valley located on the Apatani Plateau. Ziro is named as World Heritage Site for its stunning natural beauty. The place has an magnificent landscape of beautiful lush green forest, streams and elevated patches. On arrival at Ziro, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Ziro.

 

Day 10  IN ZIRO

Today, you will get to know about the Apatani culture which is completely different from all other tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. Walk through the rows of terraced houses and witness the face tattoos and big nose plugs of the women. Also, visit the Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to several endangered species of animals like clouded leopard. Overnight at Ziro.

Day 11  ZIRO – DAPRIJO

After breakfast, ride from Ziro to Daprijo, a small beautiful town where you can find the bamboo and cane made suspension bridges. Enroute, stop to make a visit of some Hill Miri Villages. Reach Daprijo for overnight stay.

 

Day 12  DAPRIJO – ALONG

Ride from Daprijo to Along, a quiet and pristine tourist spot offering the view of widespread plantations and Mechuka Valley. Along is surrounded by hills and has beautiful orange orchards. Reach Along and check-in at the hotel. You get to see the lifestyle of Galo Tribe people here. Overnight at Along.

 

Day 13 ALONG – PASIGHAT

After breakfast, ride to Pasighat, also referred to as the gateway of Arunachal Pradesh. The place is heaven for nature lovers having the scenic grandeur. Enroute, visit Panging, one of the largest Minyong tribal village of the Adi Mingyong tribes people. There are more than 500 houses here and you can find women weaving their own clothes. Overnight at Pasighat.

Day 14  PASIGHAT – JORHAT

This day it will be a bit long ride from Pasighat to Jorhat. Reach Jorhat and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Jorhat is also known as the cultural capital of Assam as it is rich in cultural diversities. It was the last capital of Ahom Kingdom. Overnight at Jorhat.

 

Day 15 JORHAT – MAJULI

Morning after breakfast, ride to Nimati Ghat, park your motorbikes on the ferry and sail to Majuli. Reach Majuli Island after an approximate sailing of one and a half hour. Majuli is rich in both natural and cultural history depicting the Assamese civilization for past five hundred years. It has some unique Hindu monasteries where one can witness the dance performed by the monks of Uttarkamalabari Satra. Overnight at Majuli.

Day 16 MAJULI – KAZIRANGA  

This day again take a ferry back to Nimati Ghat and then ride to Kaziranga famous for Kaziranga National Park which is a UNESCO world heritage site and hosts two-third of the world’s great one-horned Rhinoceros. Arrive Kaziranga and check-in at your hotel/lodge. Overnight at Kaziranga.

 

Day 17  IN KAZIRANGA  

Morning, proceed for an elephant safari at Kaziranga National Park. After elephant safari come back to the hotel for lunch. Thereafter, proceed for Jeep Safari to explore the wildlife and birding. Apart from one-horned Rhinoceros you may also spot elephant, tiger, variety of deer, wild buffalo etc. The park of Kaziranga is also decked with some special bird species like the Crested serpent eagle, Pella’s fishing eagle, Jungle fowl, Bengal florican etc. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 18 KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI – DELHI-FLY OUT

Morning, check-out from the hotel and ride to Guwahati. On reaching Guwahati, we assemble at a point and then you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Delhi for your onward flight to the next destination.
