Translated , 'Spiti means the middle country'-a name obviously given as a result of its ties with both India and Tibet. The tour start from Chandigarh and finished at Amritsar.

Day 01 | DELHI – CHANDIGARH – NALAGARH |
Morning board Shatabdi Express train at Delhi for Chandigarh. On arrival, meet our motorbike team and check your Royal Enfield bikes. After the test ride start the journey and proceed for Nalagarh which will be our first night halt. Nalagarh is known for its lush greenery, serenity and the panoramic view of the Shivalik hills. Visit Nalagarh Fort also. Overnight at Nalagarh.
Day 02 | NALAGARH – NARKANDA |
After breakfast, ride to Narkanda via Shimla and Kufri, through the pretty smooth hilly terrain with beautiful views around. Reach Shimla, and explore Viceroy Lodge, The Mall Road and Christ Church. Later, ride further to Kufri – a small picturesque hill station near Shimla, known for its pleasing climate and scenic beauty. Take a short break here and then continue further to Narkanda. Reach Narkanda and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Narkanda.
Day 03 | NARKANDA – SARAHAN |
Morning ride to Sarahan through hilly curves and hairpin bends. The road continues to descend down the hills until Sainj from where you ride further along the Sutlej River. Reach Jeori, from where you will take a diversion uphill for Sarahan. After a few hairpin uphill patch of 11 kms reach Sarahan and check-in at the hotel. Visit Bhimakali Temple and Rajbari in Sarahan. Overnight at Sarahan.
Day 04 | SARAHAN – SANGLA |
Post breakfast, ride to Sangla. Get down to Jeori and take the road further to Karcham. Throughout the route to Karcham, you can spot heavy constructions and maintenance of Dams built on Sutlej river. Today, you enter Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. From Karcham, the narrow and adventurous road diverts for Sangla. The whole Sangla Valley is famous for its scenic beauty and cultivation of apples, walnuts, pears etc. Enjoy the nature and the beauty of lush green Sangla valley surrounded by mountains. Overnight at Sangla.
Day 05 | SANGLA – CHITKUL – KALPA |
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Chitkul, the last inhabited Indian village before Indo-China border. The ride to Chitkul is the most scenic one with amazing views of the Baspa valley. Reach Chitkul and visit temples, view the traditional houses and interact with the friendly people of this beautiful hamlet. After spending some time in Chitkul, ride to Kalpa. It is believed by locals that Kalpa was the home of Lord Shiva during winters. It offers a majestic view of Kinner Kailash peak. Reach Kalpa for overnight stay.
Day 06 | KALPA – NAKO |
This morning start the ride for Nako on time. Today you will ride through the famous Hindustan – Tibet highway considered as one of the most treacherous roads of the world. Ride through the spectacular lush green Kinnaur valley that offers splendid views of the mountains, river and valleys. Reach Nako and check-in at the camp. Nako is a small village in Kinnaur district and popular for Nako Lake, Nako Monastery and Padamsambhava temple of Lord Buddha. Overnight at Nako.
Day 07 | NAKO - TABO |
After breakfast, we ride to Tabo which is the second largest village in Spiti Valley and is also known for its 1000 year old Tabo Monastery. Tabo Monastery is UNESCO World heritage site also and is very famous among the tourists from India and abroad. It has the beautiful and most precious paintings of Buddhism. Reach Tabo for overnight stay.
Day 08 | TABO - KAZA |
Today we ride further towards Kaza – the commercial capital of Spiti Valley. Enroute visit Dhankar village known for the Dhankar Monastery or Gompa hanging on a rocky cliff, overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Thereafter, continue the ride further and visit Pin Valley – the cold desert National Park. It is an enormous throng of nature and wildlife flourishing at their best. After spending some quality time at Pin Valley, ride back to Tabo-Kaza highway and continue towards Kaza. Overnight at Kaza.
Day 09 | KAZA - An excursion to Kibber Village |
Morning visit Komik which is Asia’s highest village, Hikkim famous for the world’s highest post office. Then, ride to Langza – another beautiful village which belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Then ride down to Kaza road and take a diversion to Kibber – one of the most picturesque village, followed by a visit to the world famous Ki Monastery, the prominent centre of learning for Tibetan Buddhist. Overnight at Kaza.
Day 10 | KAZA - MANALI |
This will be long day of riding where you will be passing through two high altitude motorable mountain passes, Kunzum La – the pass connecting Lahaul and Spiti Valley, stop here to offer prayers at Kunzum Mata Temple. Another pass will be Rohtang La – the pass connecting Lahaul and Spiti Valley to Kullu Valley. The road patch is a rough one with some small streams on the way, so it may take long hours to complete this stretch. Reach Manali and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Manali.
Day 11 | IN MANALI |
This day take some rest and late morning, proceed for a local sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hadimba Temple, located in dense forest, this temple is dedicated to Hadimba Mata, wife of Bheema from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashisht Temple dedicated to sage Vashisht is another spot known for the hot natural sulphur spring water where one can take bath. Visit Tibetan Monastery also followed by a walk around the Mall road in evening. Overnight at Manali.
Day 12 | MANALI - BAIJNATH |
Morning after breakfast, check-out and ride to Baijnath. Enroute, visit Hanogi Mata Temple and stop at Pandoh for photography. Continue ride to Baijnath and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Baijnath is famous for ancient temple of Lord Shiva and every year many devotees around the world visit this temple to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. Overnight at Baijnath.
Day 13 | BAIJNATH - DHARAMSHALA |
This day start your ride for Dharamshala. Enroute, visit Chamunda Devi Temple and then ride further to Dharamshala. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Dharamshala is known for its scenic and beautiful landscapes and is a home to the Dalai Lama and houses the Tibetan monks in exile. Overnight at Dharamshala.
Day 14 | IN DHARAMSHALA |
This day you will explore the areas of Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. Visit Tsuglagkhang Complex, Namgyal Monastery, St. John in the Wilderness Church, Dharamkot and Bhagsunag Waterfall in Mcleodganj. Overnight at Dharamshala.
Day 15 | DHARAMSHALA - AMRITSAR |
After breakfast, leave for Amritsar in Punjab. Amritsar is an important pilgrimage and spiritual capital for the Sikhs. It is the home to the magnificent Golden Temple also called as Harmandir Sahib, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar Lake. Reach Amritsar and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Amritsar.
Day 16 | IN AMRITSAR |
Morning after breakfast, visit the Golden Temple – the holiest Gurudwara also called as Shri Darbar Sahib surrounded by a sacred tank (lake) where pilgrims take bath. Visit Jallianwala Bagh which is just a walk away from the Golden Temple. It is a public garden and a memorial of national importance. Late afternoon, proceed for Wagah on India-Pakistan border to witness the beating retreat ceremony between two nations. Evening handover the motorbikes. Overnight at Amritsar.
Day 17 | AMRITSAR - DELHI -FLY OUT |
Morning, transfer to Amritsar Railway Station to board the Shatabdi Express train for Delhi for your flight to onward destination.
